To protect us from foreign invaders.
To prevent monoplies.
To represent and serve the people.
To establish courts of Justice.

2. I don't think so, because one person can't change all the wishes of others. My opinion would mean nothing. I think it would be a waste of my time.

unit 1 ass. 7

Alexander Falconbridge's account of the slave trade

1. I learned a few things that i didnt know. I found out that before the European bought their slaves they examined them first. I also read that they would kill the slaves that were old of age, sick, or deformed.

2. What suprised me the most was that they put the men slaves together two by two with their wrist in handcuffs and they put iron on tiop of their legs. The women were kept in a different part of the ship.

3. Africans now days dont have to worry about being mistreated. Africans in the past were treated worse then dirt. It hurt my heart from what I read.

unit 1

1.I think immigrants come to America for many different reasons. America may offer better opportunities then were the immigrants come from. Most of the time they come over looking for work. When they come over illegally and get caught they may lose there freedom. They may also come to be with family that is already a citizen in America.

2.I would move for both reasons for different reasons. Your freedom is everything and you have nothing if you don’t have your freedom. That would be the most important reason for me to move. When it comes to economic reasons you may have problems that only money can solve. Economic reasons can also be very important, because you need money to survive.
